I AM ALIVE

Before i start, just to let you guys know, my next few posts will probably be about some upcoming games that I am looking forward to (and I hope you will to).

Anyway...

Not much about this game as of now but this to me seems like a really good game to get excited about...

This game is an odd one. I guess it's got it's own class/genre... hmm lets call it a survivor genre... It's to early to tell what sort of game this will be as no gameplay videos are out there as far as I'm concerned. Well the reason I'm interested in this game is becauae it's different. I don't think there is any other game like it. Basically this game takes place after a 10.3 Mw hits Chicago and you, along with many other people, are left in the now destroyed city.

Here's the wiki link - this has the plot and other things you may want to know about the game:

Also here's the two trailers for the game:

So that's that... :)

Tell me what you think of this game in the comments!

So until next time SEE YAA :D

Portal 2

To anyone who has played Portal you should be interested to know about the release of Portal 2.
Portal 2 was announced at E3 2010 by Gabe Newell. After the success of Portal, many fans of the game we're probably expecting a sequel after the sort of cliff hangar at the end of the first game. Portal 2 is set hundreds of... tell you what here's the wikipedia link :)

I would recommend checking out these 3 parts of game footage from E3. It's pretty awesome if I do say so myself:

http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=5THiN8szSKM < The beginning of this video is the trailer that was shown at E3

If you really can't be arsed to check out those vids (but you REALLY should) I guess I could tell you what's in them. Basically they all show gameplay of new mechanisms and that in Portal 2. These include traction beams, speedy gloop stuff (which is so cool), spring pads, vacuums, awesome lasers and the beginning scene of the game.

So that's it for now guys :D I will be posting again soon so keep checking!
See yaa!

New Borderlands DLC!!
It's true...
But first, for anyone who has played the DLC Secret Armoury of General Knoxx:

Okay so now that's cleared up... Yes the new DLC
If you have completed Borderlands, I guessing you're probably pissed off with the final cut scene... I mean WTF. But don't worry the new DLC is called: Claptrap's New Robot Revolution and yes I think the enemies are CL4P-TP Interplanetary Ninja Assassins :)
Finally after all this time wondering WTF that end cutscene was about it's coming THIS MONTH. The release date has been said to be September 28th. The level cap will be raised by 8 after buying the new DLC and there will probably be a load of decent loot to. Here's what wikipedia has to say about it:

Claptrap's New Robot Revolution

On March 3, 2010, Take-Two officially announced a fourth piece of downloadable content, stating that they will "continue to support the title with more add-on content, and our approach to digital content for Borderlands gives [Take-Two] a road map for other titles going forward."[20]On July 15, 2010, General Knoxx's twitter page was updated for the first time in months, stating that he had "new orders (sent from the future)" On July 30, 2010, Randy Pitchford, Co-founder of Gearbox Software and current CEO, announced via twitter regarding the content "I get a LOT of questions about more DLC for Borderlands. Yes, more is coming! T2 already said so! Let's talk soon :)" [21] On August 5, 2010, a long list of content that's supposedly going to come out in the content was posted on the Gearbox Forums. The data was gathered from files in the 1.31 update for the PC version of Borderlands.[22] On August 11, 2k confirmed the title of the content, Claptrap's New Robot Revolution, and its main premise.[23] The DLC will have 21 missions split between 9 main missions and 12 side quests. The game will focus around a rogue army of malfunctioning Clap-Traps, along with an army of familiar enemies transformed into Clap-Trap styles. A wide variety of old cast members will return alongside new faces. New fast-travel destinations are also expected, a first for Borderlands DLC.[citation needed]On September 5, 2010, Pitchford announced at the Penny Arcade Expo that the release date was scheduled to be September 28, 2010. Pitchford also announced a patch to increase the level cap by 8 for all players, regardless of whether the General Knoxx expansion had been purchased. [24]

Yupp there it is :) I can't wait and I'm sure you cant either!!
If you want more info, fish around, see what you can find :)

Until another day my friends I bid you ado...
But before I go here's a picture for your enjoyment :D

Yehh I dunno who he is either... Apparently some BBC presenter or something...
Anyway keep checking for more posts, who knows what's coming next, the gaming world is so big, it could be anything.
See ya guys!

Pokemon hacking

Okay so here's something which I think is amazing...
Pokemon was and still is my favourite GBA game and has been ever since I started playing Pokemon Gold. Pokemon hacking; something I found out about a couple of weeks ago took Pokemon to a whole new level.  I thought it was so cool that I had to share it with you guys...

Okay so basic things:
- You can hack a lot of pokemon games (I think) but Fire Red is by far the easiest to hack and most of the hacking tools are made for Fire Red
- You can alter almost any aspect of the game you are editing, even create a whole new game if you waned
- It will get some getting used to as there are alot of tools

Because I am still getting to grips with a few of the tools, I will give you the links to the most helpful videos I have found which will give you step by step tutorials and take you through each tool thoroughly (they will also give you links to download all of the tools required)

This is the link to part one of I think about 16 or 17 tutorials:

I think all of this guy's vids are to do with scripting (I may be wrong) so I would start with the video above and once you get on to scripting check out this guy's vids:

I am in the middle of editing Fire Red so when it is finished I will find a way to upload it so you guys can download it tell me what you think of it :)

This will take time and patience so if you have a short attention span, I wouldn't bother with this...

Will post again soon guys :)
